Данное обновление позволяет исправить следующие проблемы безопасности:
* Уязвимость, связанная с переполнением буфера, обнаружена в функции load_mixer_volumes() в звуковом драйвере Open Sound System (OSS) в Linux kernel. В системах 64-bit PowerPC локальный непривилегированный пользователь может использовать данную уязвимость, чтобы вызвать отказ в обслуживании или повысить свои привилегии. (CVE-2010-4527)
* Ошибка, связанная с нарушениями границ, обнаружена в функции dvb_ca_ioctl() в модуле av7110 в Linux kernel. В системах, которые используют старые карты DVB, требующие наличия модуля av7110, локальный непривилегированный пользователь может использовать данную уязвимость, чтобы вызвать отказ в обслуживании или повысить свои привилегии. (CVE-2011-0521)
* Уязвимость, связанная с отсутствием инициализации, обнаружена в функции ethtool_get_regs() в обработчике ethtool IOCTL в Linux kernel. Локальный пользователь с привилегиями CAP_NET_ADMIN может использовать эту уязвимость, чтобы вызвать утечку данных. (CVE-2010-4655)
Данное обновление относится сразу к нескольким уязвимостям. Документацию можно найти по ссылкам.
Пользователям рекомендуется обновить программное обеспечение, чтобы решить указанные проблемы. Необходимо перезагрузить систему, чтобы изменения вступили в силу.
