Описание
Page CALENDARAPPLET.HTM within Application Component MKTCALENDAR does not sufficiently encode LV_CHARSET,URLBASECONTROLERSTATELESS, URLBASECONTROLER, and BASEADR parameters, resulting in a cross-site scripting issue. Pages MKTPROJFLEXRESULT.HTM, MKTPROJFLEXRESULTS.HTM within Application Component MKTCALENDAR_NEW do not sufficiently encode DISPLAY_URL parameter, resulting in a cross-site scripting issue. A reflected cross-site scripting attack can be used to non-permanently deface or modify displayed content from a Web site.
The following places are using the obsolete XML encoding method calls, which can result in a cross-site scripting issue:
Class CL_MCAL_LOAD, Method XML_ENCODE
Class CL_MCAL_XML_HANDLER, Methods XML_ENCODE, BUILD_TILE_DATA_XML_NEW, PREPARE_CHILD_NODE_XML
The communication between Java Applete and Application Component MKTCALENDAR is not verified, which can result in a cross-site scripting issue.
Reflected cross-site scripting can be used to steal another user#s authentication information, such as data relating to their current session. An attacker who gains access to this data may use it to impersonate the user and access all information with the same rights as the target user. If an administrator is impersonated, the security of the application may be fully compromised.
Note 1582870 is the prerequisites for releases not based on SAP_BASIS 7.31 or higher.
