Pages within BW-BEX-ET-WEB fails to correctly validate the URL path that is used to reference a file that is read. As a result, a malicious user can potentially direct the program to an arbitrary other file in the system. This could resulte in a reflected cross-site scripting issue. A re-flected cross-site scripting attack can be used to non-permanently deface or modify displayed content from a Web site. Reflected cross-site scripting can be used to steal another user's authentication information, such as data relating to their current session. A malicious user who gains access to this data may use it to impersonate the user and access all information with the same rights as the target user. If an administrator is impersonated, the security of the application may be fully compromised.
Как исправить
With the correction, we check in the table HTTP_WHITELIST as described in note 1594641 for an entry of type 01 for Portal CSS Theme-URL. In case the provided stylsheet URL not in the whitelist, we create an ABAP runtime error will be generated. The customer has to put the allowed URLs for the stylesheet on the HTTP_WHITELIST table
