В Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla Network Security Services (NSS), Mozilla SeaMonkey и Mozilla Thunderbird существует уязвимость, позволяющая удаленно вызвать переполнение. Уязвимость возникает из-за ошибки в коде Network Security Services (NSS) при обработке некоторых SSLv2-сообщений сервера. Данные приложения некорректно обрабатывают SSL-сертификаты, обладающие публичным ключом RSA, который слишком короткий для кодирования ключа "Master Secret" протокола SSLv2. Это может вызвать переполнение в динамической области памяти, позволяющее злоумышленнику выполнить произвольный код.
